Hillsborough Fire Stations 37 and 38 were dispatched at 12:16pm on January 19 to a wood chipper fire in front of 32 Beverly Drive. The fire was quickly extinguished by Engine 38’s crew which was the first unit on the scene.
The Hillsborough Fire District was dispatched Saturday January 16 at 2:40 am to a barn fire at 826 Amwell Road. The barn had fire throughout the structure when first fire units arrived and was completely destroyed. Hillsborough Fire Company # 3 (Station 38) responded with Tanker 38, Ladder 38 and Rescue 38.

On Tuesday night December 8, the Hillsborough Township Board of Fire Commissioners recognized the top responding firefighters for the Hillsborough Township Fire District. Pictured from left to right are Hillsborough Fire Company # 3 firefighters Tim Coyle, Bob Francolini, Scott Muller, Rick Artz, Manny Nowacki, Ed Kovach, Christian Fulmino and Ken Johnson. Also recognized but not in the photo were Charles Nuara and Nicholas Glass-Hardenbergh.
The HIllsborough Township Fire District was dispatched at 4:22 am to a structure fire at 61 Dunedain Street in Station 37’s primary area. The initial dispatch indicated that the fire started in a garbage can next to the residence with extension to the exterior of the dwelling. All crews cleared the area at approximately 6:30 am.
The Hillsborough Fire District was dispatched at 12:53 pm on Sunday September 27 to a structure fire at 415 Bigley Road. Upon arrival, the rear of the house and attic were on fire. After a roof collapse, firefighters were forced to evacuate the building. Congratulations to our Lieutenant Tom Marvits for rescuing the family cat. Crews remained on the scene until approximately 5:00 pm assisting the Fire Marshal’s Office and salvaging items with the homeowners.

The Hillsborough Fire Company # 3 will be holding an open house at its fire station at 324 Woods Road on Saturday October 3. The open house will run from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, rain or shine.
Firefighters will hold live burn demonstrations and free refreshments (hot dogs, coffee, lemonade, popcorn, cotton candy and snow cones) will be provided to all attendees.
Hillsborough Fire Company # 3 (Station 38) was dispatched at 12:30 pm on a mutual aid assignment to a structure fire on Mettlers Road in Franklin Township. The fire broke out at around 12:00 pm at the Huntington Life Sciences Building located at 100 Mettlers Road. Station 38 responded with Ladder 38 and Rescue 38.
