Shortly after noon on Tuesday July 19, the Hillsborough Fire District was dispatched to a large fire on a farmer’s field on East Mountain Road. Also responding were Montgomery Station 45 and several New Jersey Forest Fire units. The fire covered several acres of land and damaged some farm equipment.

Matt Wells earned his baccalaureate from the University of Scranton (Scranton, PA). In pursuit of his goal of becoming a physical therapist, Matt was accepted to the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program at Saint Francis University (Loretto, Pennsylvania) and will continue his journey this summer.
Alex Glass-Hardenbergh earned his baccalaureate from Lehigh University (Bethlehem, Pennsylvania) with a major in Mechanical Engineering. This summer, Alex will intern at IBM in New York City and in the fall Alex will return to Lehigh University to complete a second degree in Finance.
Mike Lemonie earned his baccalaureate from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (Daytona Beach, Florida) with a major in Unmanned Aircraft Systems and minor in Homeland Security and Human Factors. In June, Mike traveled to Thailand for three weeks and over the summer Mike will be pursuing employment to fly unmanned aircraft systems.
Shaun Consentino graduated from Hillsborough High School and will attend East Carolina University (Greenville, North Carolina) majoring in Environmental Engineering. Shaun will also be joining the Army ROTC at ECU.
Andrew Hodossy graduated from Hillsborough High School and will attend Raritan Valley Community College and then plans to attend technical school for Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC). In June, Andrew completed Firefighter 1 and is looking forward to the July 14th Somerset County Emergency Services Training Academy (SCESTA) graduation.
Sean Boland earned a diploma in Criminal Justice from Somerset County Vocational and Technical High School. Sean will attend Raritan Valley Community College and will major in Criminal Justice. Sean also plans to attend firefighter 1 at SCESTA this fall (August 15th).
